week 9- video time!

As what I expected, there is something this week for us to learn and explore...video editing. Sound interesting right? for this time, we were assign a task to create a video...I am so excited..and at the same time try to figure out on what I should come out with..After a while, my partner and I decided to do a special video on the "JOURNEY OF COHORT 4." The reason why we chose Cohort 4 is because every member in this Cohort so special to us...We started from "babies" till now we become mature persons. We treasure each and every moments with Cohort 4 and that will be the best memories in our life..I should say that I am so lucky to be a part of this cohort..I can't imagine how we as a cohort will be separated after we graduated...It must be sad..But for me to have them is the best thing ever happen to me..Hope by doing this video, we'll be more close and the bonding between us will become stronger...:)Can't wait for the video to be completed..hehehe

week 8- relieved for a while

Hi guys!

Feel relief a bit after submitted my three tutorials that I've been working through for a few days..But that's not the end of the story yet..there is a lot more to finish and to complete before we end this HECTIC semester..Apart from running for assignment dateline, I also have to make sure I am physically and mentally prepared to meet the demand of all the works assigned to us.I do admit that is the students' life. But I have to take it positively and not to let all those workloads affect my emotions and spirit to keep learning and enhancing my knowledge.I also never forget to remind myself, whatever happen just don't forget to smile and view your life from a brighter side.For this week, we were assigned another work to do.ARTICLE..what I like about this article is, it provides a case study on how teacher should integrate technologies to enhance their teaching and learning process.For me as a future teacher, I agree that teachers should equip themselves with technologies as it will make your lesson become much more interesting and fun if compared to a lesson with only chalk and talk..I believe with the integration of technologies such as Ebook,sketchpad for maths and etc will definitely capture your students' attention to engage in your lesson. Sound interesting right? Yes it is...why not integrate some and try it out with your future students. I'm sure they will love it:) That's all from me...Bye..

week 7-Audio Editing

Hello..we have come to week 7. For me from week to week there will be “surprise” for us as a student. This week we were learning on how to edit audio.. First of all let me briefly explain the “why do we learn to edit the audio”. On of the reason is it help us to know how to do professional editing on your audio will empower you with the knowledge and tools to correct glitches, create smoother intros and outros to music files, fix accidents and in general, give you a better audio experience. Apart from that, I also learned that there are a few softwares that can be used to edit audio namely (Audacity, Nero, Switch, Sound forge, Wavosaur and etc). Those softwares are available to enhance the audio or sound to produce a better one. I hope today’s lecture will help me in editing the audio for tutorial later on. Thank you Maam for the lecture. It was so informative and beneficial for us as a future teacher.

Week 6~E-book for children…

This week we were learning on how to produce e-book. But, for this time we were using power point to produce our own e-book. Now, talking about my own e-book, I decided to choose a story within a theme of friendship. You must be wondering why friendship? And why not others? It is because in my life I value friends as so precious. For me, to be friends and to have friends is a wonderful thing that ever happens to me. So that is why the theme “Friendship” is chosen. My e-book is about a little boy who makes friends with the sea animals and the story also portrays how the bonding of friendship between the little boy and the sea animals can save him from danger. I hope children will love the story. For me as a future teacher, producing an e-book like this will definitely make the process of teaching and learning become more interesting. This is because it is colourful, attractive and also has some moral values for the children to learn. Thus, it will make the lesson more meaningful and I believe that the lesson will be more effective and efficient.

week 5~crazy about PHOTO editing

One more thing discovered! Photo editing using fxphoto and Adobe photoshop. For me this technologies introduced was new to me. So, I it will consume much time for me to explore and try out the technology. But this is actually cool and interesting.. we can do a lot of photo editing, include effect, text and so on..I had also looking at our seniors piece of work. It was so amazing and great as they are able to combine pictures and make it looks so stunning with some effects added on. I hope to reach at that level soon! I am so excited to explore more about the photoshop and the fxphoto.Not only that, we were also being introduced with photobucket which I can say that it is some sort of album where we can include our collection of photos there. For me this class become so,so and so interesting week by week. To reflect as a future teacher, I should equip myself with the latest technology like this (fxphoto and photoshop) as to ensure I will not be left behind as my future students will be ten times better than me in technology. So, to meet the demand of this kind of student, I have to ensure that my knowledge in technology will be upgraded time to time. Now I have already found a place where I can enhance my knowledge of technology. It is here in RESOURCES class.Thank you ma'am for giving us the opportunity to get to know such technology:) I have also included the picture before and after it was being edited. I know it is not so obvious as I just changed the effect. But, I am ready to give myself another try.. Wish me LUCK!

week 4~No internet connection!

Sigh.....no internet connection for this week! So, we cannot do anything related to the used of internet..at the end, we were asked us to do some discussion on topic 2,3 and 4. But don't worry I still learn something towards the end of the class. I actually learn a lot from each topic. A lot of teaching materials and teaching activities discovered for each topic. It was so interesting! now i know where to refer to get the idea for my teaching experience next time. it's worth it! SMALL book with a HUGE knowledge inside:) let see what is the new activity found in the book.
One of it is....how to reuse your activity for to teach different skills. This is what I"m looking for..as a teacher we have to be SMART enough to reuse your materials to be adapted with your lesson. So, you don't have to prepare a new teaching aids each time you want to teach your lesson. Hurm...what a useful knowledge. Then another new activity discovered for teaching and learning in the classroom..which i think quite creative called "THE WASHING LINE GAME". This is a lively game in which the children are divided into two teams and required to line up in front of the classroom(like a washing line). Then the teacher will ask each representatives from each team to take one colour of clothes from one of the boxes provided. the first to take the correct colur of clothes will be the winner of the game.Sound interesting! I might consider this activity to be used in my lesson in the future. I believe the children will love it a lot. thank you Maam for the GREAT book:)

After few years studying to be a future teacher, I wondering, will i be a good and good teacher to my future students?? people says "teaching is a work of LOVE.." and will i be able to pour my love to all my students?? but then, when I gone through my School Experience Programme last semester I realized that it is not easy to be a teacher. You have to make sure that each and every student get an equal treatment. But no matter how hard it is, I will try my best to be a great teacher to my students as I know that they are not only learn from us but we also have to learn from them..

week 3- ME and M>O>D>U>L>E

Helloooo....
As I said before in my second post, that i am looking for excitement week 3..tadaa!!! I got it! I learned a new knowledge for this week. About module..firstly we were taught on how to search for Michael Jackson's latest song "Give Thanks to ALLAH". Nice song:) and then, first time in my life i discovered the function of PRINT SCREEN..I like it when you transferred it into a word document.there is a lot to do for the portfolio.Hope i manage to complete it..GOD...give me strength to finish what i supposed to finish...

week 2_still LEARNING

Second week~weee..still learning to adapt myself to this new environment. Thank God because I am giving a very nice and so motherly lecturer to guide me in this course. For the second week we were remind about the our assignment~doing PORTFOLIO. First of all, i have kind of mixing feeling to hear about the assignment. But then, i was thinking that why should i worry about this. i have some experience doing it before although this time the portfolio might be different. So, i hope i don't have so much problem to complete this assignment and really hope to learn a lot from this course. looking for excitement in week 3 then..bye~

New COURAGE is needed!

Being an undergraduate in UM, is not as I expected. New environment, seems to kill my spirit. I am still in the process of adjusting and getting along with new places, lecturers, courses and etc. But somehow, I realize, I need to gather myself, face this challenge with all spirit that is still remain in me. It will take time. that's for sure. but I know, the time will come, where I can grab the COURAGE and safely keep it in my tiny little heart.

Introduced to this course, another challenge for me as I am not really well-verse with technology. Nevertheless that is not an excuse for me to say "NO" to the use of this miraculous tool in teaching and learning soon. I am hunger for knowledge on how to upgrade my existing skills in using technology. Hope to learn a lot from you. feel grateful to be in this class.
